Akili Blaq is a seasoned poly-rhythmic sound designer, who has a knack for textures, subtlety and unexpected loopy arrangements. His non-linear meanimalist (minamilist) approach is encapsulated beautifully in the Snappylilbits Series, a quick-fire sample based compilation of beats and songs scattered with musical features from close collaborators and friends. Added to that,his DNE mixes allude to other musical artists that he draws upon, enjoys or is inspired by.

To balance his creative output in our monetary based society, Blaq doubles as a creative director and small business entrepreneur.

Trabolee is a word shaman who deploys metaphor and flow as vehicles that are loaded with meaning, awe, order, chaos & dexterity. This vocation is driven by the innate human need to perceive and translate our day to day experiences in a mytho-poetic form. He has a vast body of work that attests to this.

A bridge builder between worlds and words, Tra has improved on the artform of rap by choosing not to languish in language. Instead he shape-shifts the utility of speech into an aesthetic that heals the imagination by setting it free while trapping the listener in captivating cadences.

To integrate in our transactional reality, Tra is a life coach and aspiring small business entrepreneur.
